Leonard J. Brenner concentrates his practice in corporate and business matters, business litigation, contracts, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and tax controversies. Mr. Brenner is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Mr. Brenner graduated from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 1984, from Northern Illinois University in 1979 with a degree in accounting, and practiced in public accounting before attending law school. Mr. Brenner is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
As an Associate Attorney at Glick and Trostin, LLC, Michael concentrates his practice in the areas of business law and estate planning. Michael’s experience includes a range of business law and estate planning matters including contract review and negotiation, entity formation and regulation, brand protection, as well as trust administration and decedent’s probate estate administration. Prior to joining Glick and Trostin, LLC, Michael worked as associate corporate counsel for a publicly traded company.
Michael received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing a variety of sports, including hockey and golf, and exploring the city of Chicago.
Joan is the Office Manager and a Paralegal with Glick and Trostin, LLC. Joan joined the firm in February 2000 after working in the legal field for over thirty-five years. She enjoys her varied duties and responsibilities and loves meeting and working with the firm’s clients. She is involved in many charitable organizations and is an avid sports fan.
As a Senior Associate Attorney at Glick and Trostin, LLC he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, asset protection planning, business succession planning, and tax planning, as well as estate and trust administration and decedent’s probate estate administration. Bryan’s experience ranges from simple wills and powers of attorney to dynasty, generation-skipping, insurance, gift and other specialized trusts. He also concentrates his practice in business succession planning, the creation of limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, and family offices. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Bryan received his J.D. (cum laude) and LL.M. in taxation from the John Marshall School of Law. While in law school, Bryan was a member of the Law Review and volunteered and managed the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program helping low income individuals file their income tax returns. Bryan attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he graduated with a B.S. in Political Science and Public Administration. Prior to law school, Bryan worked for a global technology company. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter around the city of Chicago.
As a Partner with Glick and Trostin, LLC, her areas of concentration include Federal tax: controversy (audits and appeals), advocacy, and tax preparation (individuals, trusts, estates, gifts, private foundations); estate planning and trust/probate administration; and business transactions.
Cyndi holds a B.S.B.A degree in business management from Roosevelt University, and a J.D. and an L.L.M. in taxation (with honors) from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. She is an adjunct professor teaching Tax Accounting in the L.L.M. and MST programs and has served on the IRS Advisory Council (Small Business/Self-Employed Committee). When not assisting clients with their family and business matters, Cyndi enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Marvin is Of Counsel with Glick and Trostin, LLC and has practiced business and personal law for many decades. Lauded by his clients for "his extraordinary level of caring and personalized service" Mr. Glick's primary areas of focus include estate planning, federal estate and gift taxation, probate and trust administration, commercial real estate, and business planning. A life-long resident of the Chicago community, Mr. Glick did his undergraduate work at the University of Illinois and received his J.D. from DePaul University. He served for two decades on the board of directors at the Devon Bank in Chicago's Rogers Park and has been a board member and continues as special advisor to The Ark, a local non-profit social service organization that helps "individuals down on their lot" recoup their dignity and return to productive living.
